Register your interest for T'ai Chi classes- Tutor, Day, Time all ready to go!

We have a tutor all ready to go to deliver a morning T'ai Chi class in our Hall. The class will be run on a Wednesday morning from 9.30am-10.30am for 6 weeks at a time. The cost will be €40 for 6 weeks, or €8 if you'd prefer to pay per class. We're hoping to commence the 6 week course on Wednesday 30th April so if you're interested then contact us here on 01-8395338, or call in to see us.

This low impact, slow motion exercise has far reaching benefits, including improved balance, flexibility and muscle strength and is a great form of aerobic conditioning. A growing body of research indicates that T'ai Chi may be helpful for several medical conditions such as arthritis, hypertension and Parkinson's disease, in conjuction with standard treatment.


Tekken Shotokan Karate Club coming to Baldoyle Community Hall

Roy Fitzpatrick, 4th Dan in Shotokan Karate, is establishing a Karate Club here in the Baldoyle Community Hall. Shotokan Karate is a form of self-defense using all parts of the body. It develops balance, flexibility and speed through the constant practice of the basic movements. An art form in itself and a great way to keep fit!

8.30pm-9.30pm (Juniors 6-16)

8.30pm-10pm (Seniors 16+)



6.30pm-7.30pm (Juniors 6-16)

Computer Classes - 8 hours training for €20

Registration is now open for computer classes in March/April 2014. Classes will be delivered in four 2 hour sessions, in our fully equipped training room. Learn how to send e-mail, conduct internet searches, engage in social media and complete online transactions. Complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits included.


As always, we here in Baldoyle Community Hall, would not like to see someone miss out on this great training for financial reasons. Foroige seeking to set up new youth club in Baldoyle

     Foroige, Ireland's leading youth organisation, are hoping to establish a youth group in Baldoyle, for young people in our community. As with all Foroige clubs, the group will be run entirely by volunteers.


     If you are interested in working with young people, Foroige welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds and of various ages. Full training and continuous upskilling is available for all volunteers.


     There is also a great opportunity to establish a special interest group (e.g. drama, music, photgraphy etc.) within the youth group for anyone with special or specific interests, skills or talents.

     Happy New Year from everyone at Baldoyle Community Hall!


     We are delighted to say that our facebook page is now up and running. Follow us to find out about upcoming classes, community events and a whole host of information relating to the Baldoyle community.


     We are also pleased to say that the hall is offering plenty of classes and activities again this year, to suit a wide range of ages and interests.


     For anyone looking to take up a new fitness class, improve their sense of health and wellbeing, or continue with a class, there are Yoga classes (morning and evening) suitable for both beginners and more advanced yogis. There is also Fitness League and Zumba classes to get the body moving and the heart pumping in a fun and uplifting atmosphere.


     T'ai Chi classes will be coming soon, so keep an eye on the website for more details.


     To get the creative juices flowing, we offer dress design & sewing classes, art classes and decoupage classes. Perfect to tap into your creative side in 2014!


     There is plenty on offer in the Community Hall to keep young people active, from children's yoga and ballet, to song & dance and hip-hop classes.
