Baldoyle Forum Limited is a Non Profit Community Development Organisation formed in 1996 and is a registered charity. The members of the Board are all voluntary, unpaid members of Baldoyle Community. The Board met on a monthly basis to ensure the smooth running of the Company and the Community Hall.
The primary objectives of the Baldoyle Forum Ltd. are to encourage employment creation in the Baldoyle area, and to foster community groups in the area. Social Economy Enterprise development has been identified as a main method of creating long-term, sustainable employment and we have made great strides in this area.
The Six Main aims of the organisation are:
- To Be Financially Stable
- To Provide a Safe, Healthy and Pleasant environment for the people who work in or visit the community hall.
- To Maximise the use of the Community Hall.
- To Promote Services and Activities within the community hall
- To Develop and Promote Services not available in the baldoyle area, for the benefit of all groups and individuals within the Baldoyle community and Surrounding area.
- To Support and Network with other groups in the area.
Baldoyle Forum established Anchor Childcare Centre, a Community non profit Crèche in 2002. Anchor Childcare Centre care for children from 3 months to 10 years and currently has a team of 23 staff caring for approxomately 80 children. Anchor Childcare Centre. located in the Grange Road Shopping Centre,is registered to provide services with the ECCE, CCS and CETS schemes and activities run throughout the summer.

Baldoyle Forum also established Anchor Gold, a Bookkeeping and Accountancy Company, to assist small businesses and self employed people in the area.
Baldoyle Forum also manages the Baldoyle Community hall on behalf of Fingal County Council. We are responsible for the maintenance and up keep of the community hall. In conjunction with Fingal County Council.
Upstairs we have Offices, the Darby Boardroom and a Computer Training Room.
It is our desire that the Community centre lives up to its name & potential and becomes a focal point for the residents and businesses of Baldoyle.
We have rooms available to rent on a
Short term and long term basis at reasonable rates
So, if you are looking for space to hold a residents meeting or AGM, if you need space to rehearse a drama group, find a space for your chess club or if you want to participate in any of the groups currently using the hall.
